Fires which do not exceed 1m in diameter such as, campfires, fire pits, outdoor fireplaces, burn barrels, and chimineas.
You do not need to activate your burn permit if it is only a recreational campfire!
Materials to be burned shall only be wood products.
If you want to have an open-air fire (bonfire, fire pit etc.) then yes, you need an approved permit. If you are having a barbecue a permit is not required.
Yes, residents are required to renew their fire permit January 1st each year.

The fire is started no earlier than two hours before sunset and is extinguished no later than two hours after sunrise the following day. Outside of these dates there us no specific burn time!
